The Big SQUEEZE Committee and the MCH Foundation will be hosting their third annual fundraising event at the Prairie Ridge Golf Course on October 22nd. “It’s a Mystery” will be an evening full of mystery as the Prairie Ridge Golf Course will become host to a murder mystery dinner! The proceeds of this year’s Big Squeeze event will benefit skilled nursing and rehabilitation at MCH. Their goal is to renovate the patient rooms to provide them with an environment that promotes quicker healing.
“We decided to change things up a bit this year and have one event instead of four over two days. However, this doesn’t mean that we don’t have some great ideas for potential future events that may be spread throughout the year! MCH is very proud of the support we have received from the community. It all began with a dream to bring digital mammography to our small community hospital and the community believed in us. Now that project has gone live and we are focusing on our next project to enrich the patients’ experience,” said Chad Haskell, Director of Communications. “The Big SQUEEZE has now moved to skilled care!”
Attendees of the event are encouraged to dress as if they were going on their “dream” vacation, whether that would be backpacking in the mountains or on a tropical getaway. Tickets are limited to ninety people because this year’s event will be held inside. Tickets are on sale now and you can get them by contacting Chad Haskell at 815-772-4003.
“Tickets are going to go extremely fast so I encourage people to call me quickly because we are unable to reserve in advance. The tickets will cost $50 and they will need to be paid for at the time of purchase. It will be a fantastic, mysterious night filled with laughs and some outstanding “getaway” live auction items,” said Chad Haskell.
