As the holiday season arrives, it is difficult to not think about the ones that we love. The Morrison Community Hospital would like to encourage the community to reflect back on those that we have lost and the wonderful memories that we still have. “Looking Back” is the theme for the Nineteenth Annual Tree of Lights at MCH.
The staff of MCH will be decorating a Christmas tree outside and in the front lobby with lights, in the memory of loved ones. This Nineteenth Annual Tree of Lights is a joint effort between staff and members of the community, as we celebrate the Christmas season. The names of those remembered will be posted by the tree inside, and also published in the local newspaper. The trees will be lit on Tuesday, December 7th at 2 P.M.
To memorialize your loved one with a light, send a note with that person’s name and a $5 minimum donation to Morrison Community Hospital Foundation, ATTN: Chad Haskell, 303 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL 61270, before Friday, December 3rd.
This year, proceeds will support the mission of the Morrison Community Hospital Foundation. “The mission of the Morrison Community Hospital Foundation is to support the Morrison Community Hospital, foster its growth, and to perpetuate excellence in healthcare.” It is hoped that the community will stop by to participate in the lighting of the trees and receive a free angel ornament on December 7th at 2 P.M. The trees will stay lit through the duration of the holiday season.
