The MCH Food Drive is a Success!

The dietary department at the Morrison Community Hospital would like to thank the community and staff for supporting their recent food drive.  Eight large boxes of food items were collected and donated to the local Morrison Community Food Pantry.  “The food pantry is blessed throughout the year with a lot of great contributions.  We receive quite a large variety of different food items and even cash donations for the pantry,” said Phil Renkes, a representative of the pantry. In the month of March, the food pantry served 66 families which consisted of 213 individuals.

“During the current economic hardship that we face, Morrison is fortunate to have a food pantry that is run efficiently and provides for so many families.  The dedication of Kaywyn Beswick, Jackie Tilton, Bob Schick, Phil Renkes, and others at the food pantry should not be overlooked.  They are true leaders in the community who make a difference,” said Chad Haskell, MCH Director of Communications and Fund Development.  “The hospital was proud to help support their efforts.”
